Thanks to the generous support of our FY2016-2017 sponsors, SHPE San Diego was able to:

  • Raise $15K in scholarships which includes the Past Presidents’ scholarship. Sponsors: QUALCOMM, Solar Turbines, ViaSat, General Atomics, BD, and Past Presidents.
  • Award 18 scholarships to college students and high school students.
  • Reached out to over 500 K-12 students.
  • Provided guidance to our members during social and professional development programs.

Donations from you or your organization will be used to support:

  • Scholarships for students in the Science-Technology-Engineering-Math (STEM) career fields. Awarded students will be attending local colleges or universities in the San Diego area and may be transferring out of area schools.
  • Chapter operations supporting the leadership career, and professional development of professional and student members.
  • Chapter operations supporting the programs to promote STEM to the community like Noche de Ciencias (Family Science Night).
