Biography: Steven Carrillo obtained a B.S. in Systems Engineering at the University of Arizona in 2006. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from San Diego State University. Steven is currently employed at BAE Systems as a Systems Engineer. In his spare time Steven coaches Special Olympics basketball team and is a big brother for the Big Brother Big Sisters program of San Diego. Steven has been part of the SHPE La Familia for numerous years and looks forward to leading SHPE San Diego into the future. |

Biography: Selena Salazar has been an active SHPE member since college. While at UCSD studying Electrical Engineering, she held numerous board positions. After graduating in 2005, Selena began working full time doing hardware design at Qualcomm in the same group she had been interning with since 2003. In late 2005 she moved into software development for the Multimedia Camera Software Team where she stayed for 3 years. Recenlty, Selena has worked as an Engineer in Program Management and is currently a Product Engineer in Qualcomm's QCT Multimedia group. Selena served as SHPE SD Professional Chapter's Director of Leadership and Outreach Programs for the 2008 - 2009 executive board term. |

Biography: Fabiola Hatley holds a B.S. from the University of California, San Diego, and has been an active member of SHPE since 2005. Her experience in SHPE includes membership chairs as Vice President External and SHPE Jr. Chapter Representative. Ms. Hatley was granted the San Diego Member of the Year award in 2007 for her involvement in the establishment of the Kearny High Complex Jr. Chapter. Her professional interests and experience revolve around the assessment and treatment of soil and groundwater media contaminated with toxic chemicals such as heavy metals, polychlorinated biphenyls, total petroleum hydrocarbons, and volatile organic compounds. As the San Diego Professional Chapter Secretary, Ms. Hatley hopes to facilitate communication amongst members through clear and concise meeting minutes; and wants to assist the student chapters with questions/concerns they may have in regards to administrating their chapters as well personal academic and career choices. In her free time, Ms. Hatley likes to read, travel, exercise, and attend operas, concerts, musicals and sport events. |

Biography: Jaqui has recently moved to San Diego from the Washington DC area where in 2006 she obtained her BS in Business Administration from American University. Jaqui have had the opportunity to collaborate as a Program Analyst at the National Department of Agriculture as a Web Content Manager at the Embassy of Mexico, and as a Virtual Words Analyst at the National Science Foundation. |
