You are cordially invited to attend SHPE San Diego’s 33rd Annual Awards & Scholarship Banquet “Celebrating STEM Stars” on Friday, May 1st, 2015 at 6 PM.

A celebration of SHPE San Diego’s corporate partnerships, community and education leaders, accomplished students, and our bright future STEM innovators. Join us for an extended hosted reception (including Mariachi) with bar, seating and food action stations followed by our program in the Qualcomm Hall, and wrapped up with coffee, dessert, and networking in the lobby.


Early Bird tickets are available until 9 PM on April 25th at $50 for professionals (and their guests) and $25 for students/parents/chapter advisors/guests.

Late ticket purchases will be available until April 30th at $65 for professionals and $45 for students so get your tickets now!

 

Our Keynote Speaker will be Juan Faus, Retired Qualcomm Manager and Past SHPE San Diego President.

Our MC for the night will be Heidy Arriola, Region 2 Vice President.

On Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015, ViaSat will be hosting our last general body meeting and facility tour of the year. They will be providing a Tour of their Production Facility and Satellite Systems demo room. Join us to learn more about ViaSat’s career opportunities, the Satellite Communications Industry, and SHPE San Diego’s student chapters and upcoming events! This event is open to Professionals, Students, and Guests.

Registration deadline is Sunday, April 19, 2015
To accommodate travel time from San Diego to Carlsbad, attendees can register for the tour (5:30 PM) and meeting or just the meeting (6 PM).

Updated: Booz Allen Hamilton Hosting March 5th Networking Event

This event RSVP has been extended to Friday 2/27 due to a mix up in which students can attend. The event is open to all SHPE college student levels, professionals, and NSHMBA members.

On Thursday, March 5th, Booz Allen Hamilton‘s Latin American Forum(LAF) group is hosting our March Networking Event at the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Restaurant in Old Town. Booz Allen Hamilton will be presenting a company overview, their career opportunities, and facilitating a networking workshop.  LAF will be providing appetizers while attendees will be responsible for the purchase of any drinks. This event is open to professionals and students.
