2015 Latino ERG Summit (Postponed)

UNFORTUNATELY THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Please join SHPE San Diego at our first Latino Employee Resource Group (ERG) Summit where we will be bringing together Latino ERG Leaders from San Diego companies in a forum that enables synergy and collaboration while also providing ERGs resources presented by experts in Diversity to develop engaged members, a strategy for success and an impactful ERG within their company and the community.

This event is open to:
Members of Latino ERG, Business Resource Groups(BRG), Affinity groups, or associations from companies, educational institutions, and government organizations. The event is also open to companies and organizations interested in starting a Latino ERG.

4:00 – 4:50 Workshop 1: Developing our ERGs on the path to Diversity and Inclusion
4:50 – 5:40 Networking and Dinner Break
5:40 – 6:30 Roundtable: ERG Best Practices and Lessons Learned
6:35 – 7:25 Workshop 2: Developing ourselves as Leaders for and through our ERGs
7:30 – 8:00 Closing Remarks and Next Steps

Fees
Registration is FREE to SHPE Members and $40 for non-members.

About Bernardo M. Ferdman, PhD.
Bernardo is an accomplished Leadership and Organization Development Consultant with more than 28 years of experience working with diverse groups and organizations to increase individual and collective effectiveness. Bernardo has been a University Professor since 1986, he has broad knowledge of theory, research and practice in diversity and inclusion, organization development, cross-cultural management/leadership and Latinos/as in the workplace. Bernardo is a Member of the Diversity Collegium and was a network associate with America Speaks. His Book Diversity at Work: The practice of inclusion (Wiley, 2014) Provides a state-of-the-art, research based on inclusion and how to systematically create it, foster it and navigate its challenges.
